Dr Nischay R, is a Consultant Medical Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and Interventional Endoscopist, practicing in Mysuru, Karnataka for the last 6 years. He has experience of 10 years in the field of Medical Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He has been extensively trained from one of the best institutes in India.
Dr Nischay completed his M.B.B.S from the prestigious Mysore Medical college & Research institute, post-graduation M.D in Internal Medicine from Central Institute – Regional institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal, Manipur. During his training in Medicine, he showed interest towards Hepatology and Gastroenterology
After MD in Internal Medicine, he worked in Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, Bengaluru in the department of Gastroenterology (in the year 2013), during which his interest towards the subject grew strong.
He topped in Super-specialty DM entrance exam and did his DM Medical Gastroenterology from School of Digestive and Liver Diseases, Institute of Post Graduation Medical Education and Research, Kolkata from 2014-2017. He stood top for the West Bengal university of Health sciences and secured gold medal in his discipline.
After his DM education, he worked as a Senior Registrar in the Department of Gastroenterology in School of Digestive and Liver Diseases, Kolkata.
He is well trained in procedures, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, polypectomies, ERCP, EUS, Manometry etc
Dr Nischay, believes in perfection in his work, being skillful, ethical and committed to provide best care for his patients.
His training includes extensive work with respect to Gastrointestinal luminal disorders, Inflammatory Bowel Disorders (Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s disease), Hepatobiliary tract disorders, Hepatitis (Viral), Cirrhosis and its complications like jaundice, bleeding etc. After completing his Super-specialty DM, he has been managing these disorders independently for more than 6 years now.
He has special interest towards Inflammatory Bowel Disorders (Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s disease), Cirrhosis and its complications, Hepato-biliary diseases, Pancreatic diseases.
He has been an active member of Indian society of Gastroenterology, American College of Gastroenterology
